The new Corporate phone- Return of the blackberry

Years before i retired at the tender age of 28, i was in banking and specifically front office functions. not the paper grinding or compliance fussing back office nor the sitting around analysing bullshit middle office. I do deals and i have direct access to market making computers in the bank or fund houses i work for. 

Those days, our handy assistant is the blackberry, a mark of success to other but a mark of mediocrity for me. it tells people you are on call 24 hrs, you got no life and you are probably in banking!

Those days, my scroll button was still on the side and it was one hell of a solid reliable phone. 

So these days, i am running my own firm and my business partner and i decide that we will bring back the blackberry considering it was so beaten down by consumers, i personally test use a few models and i think the Z30 stands out! retail for 499 USD from Amazon and comes feature pack for business plus it is well made with the right weight on the palm.

Most importantly their enterprise software(additional cost) provide us with great control and security over phones that are registered on our corporate network. Something the iPhone and normal android don't provide. So right now i decided to issue the Z30 to all the key guys in the firm and i am happy to say the Z30 is totally unavailable in Singapore, not even via parallel importer so only a few of us will be sporting this bad-ass and the nostalgia it brings.
