Yup i am back to that kitchenware megastore in Bukit Timah today and i bought the Cast Iron grill pan that i have been eyeing for weeks. The thing about Cast Iron stuff is that if properly maintained and used, it will last a lifetime or more but most amateurs just have no idea and decide to go with the useless Tefal non stick pan or some junk korean fancy pans which is nothing more than Junk and the food that comes out of those stuff are just like the same low quality cunts that is everywhere.
You need the right equipment to match the right skill. I decided to get serious about my grill and finally i am converting to some professional kitchenware. Of course a piece here and there is affordable for most people but a full set is what set the amateur apart from the pros.
My full set will be coming as soon as i move to a new Kitchen... Haha
so $139 for the Ceramic Pan and $166 for the grill pan.

Lets get cooking
Today i went to an upmarket kitchen equipment place in bukit timah. Well, actually GT bought me there since i mention about doing some upgrade on my cookware last week. well, the place was polished and well lit for you to see the professional price that goes with the professional equipment. Anyway i got these 2 nice wares after an hour of shopping and deciding. But the biggest surprise came in the end, she actually paid for it! Not exactly a romantic gift lol but the gesture is loving enough.
Next stop is either a Staub or Le Creuset cast iron

Pasarbella Nachos is worth the $14
Went with my belle to the Pasarbella hipster food enclave just now and i must say the Nachos is one of the best i have taken in Singapore. Singapore restaurants to be honest serves lazy nachos from ready commercial supplied ingredients and thus the lackluster taste.
This traditional nachos served with homemade dips and fresh pork strips are really tasty and full of volume in the sensory department. The flavours are light and fresh, the crunch is just right and the pork strips add a flavour of savoury to the whole snack food concept. And of course getting your pretty lady to feed you make it taste even better!
